Purposeful family living - with a French twist

Bonjour! I'm Michele Cherie: francophile, teacher, writer, runner, wife, and mama to five children. I'm a non-native French speaker from the West Coast, USA. My husband and I recently relocated our family to Alsace, France. IntentionalMama shares our bilingual journey and resources for a culturally-rich family life.

C'est le Weekend: Links You'll Like

October 26, 2013 by Michele Cherie in Weekend Links

L'Halloween is nearly upon us! Do you have a Halloween-related event to attend this weekend? We might take our children to a local Boo Bash. Then again, a restful weekend at home sounds nice, and my daughter and I want to plant the tulip bulbs she picked out. In the meantime, here is this weekend's menu of links to enjoy.

Appetizer Link (lighter fare):

  • A geneticist claims he's discovered what the Yeti (aka Abominable Snowman) actually is.

Main Course Link (heavier food for thought):

  • Love the sinner, hate the sin? Beth Woolsey points out that this phrase isn't technically from the Bible, nor is it exactly what Saint Augustine said. But do you agree with her point of view?

Dessert Link (sweetness):

  • Video: Love and Marriage after a brain injury. Doesn't this couple's story speak to the essence of what marriage is about? (Thanks, Jeanne, for sharing this via Loving My Lot.)

And by the way, I intended to post more frequently @Intentional Mama this week, but my words just didn't come together well enough in the time that I had to write. I'm sure you understand, but merci for your patience.
